Following 9/11, the Homeland Security Advisory System employed color-coded threat levels, influencing both our perceptions and behaviors. In this work, I weave those colors onto five cages, reflecting how the system created invisible boundaries around daily life. The piece asks whether our pursuit of safety has confined us, limiting our freedom.
