Systemic thinking is at the core of my practice.

I use weaving as a form of language. It allows me to create a solid surface around a three-dimensional form that is visually porous, like a cage. My cages function a psychological devices that point to artificial forms of division. By saturating space, I make the visual and sensory permeable spaces disappear, asking what impact those systems have on our sovereignty as individuals and their potential to make us fade away.
